About Car Insurance in Vancouver
ICBC is a crown corporation and the mandatory insurer for any driver in British Columbia. The basic car insurance plan is called Autoplan. There are over 900 Autoplan brokers in BC.
There are three Autoplan terms:
- Annual – 1 year plan (most popular)
- Medium term – 3 to 11 month plan
- Short term – 1 to 15 day plan
