Plenty of Fish (or POF) is a Vancouver based company that was founded in 2003 and was one of the first online dating websites at that time. What sets Plenty of Fish apart from other online dating sites is that it has continued to be a free service. It offers a premium service and generates revenue from its advertising.

Plenty Of Fish was sold in 2015 for $575 million to the owners of Match.com, OKCupid and Tinder.

The founder is Markus Frind, who now spends time at Frind Properties.
