About Vancity

Vancity is the largest credit union in Canada, with $28.2 billion in total assets under administration as of 2018.

It was founded by 14 people in 1946 on the corner of Broadway and Quebec in Vancouver. Today, it has 60 branches and 540,000 members.

Its headquarters are on Terminal Ave across the street from Science World.
