They were founded in 1980 and are one of Western Canada’s largest independent insurance brokers. There are over 130 Westland Insurance locations across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Westland has acquired smaller insurance companies over the years including First West Insurance Services, Envision Insurance, Island Savings Insurance (Vancouver Island), and Valley First Insurance (Okanogan).
