California tech giant Apple Inc. will be moving into a new Vancouver office space at 400 West Georgia, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The Bloomberg article states that the company will occupy 2 floors of office space in the new tower, citing unnamed sources.

Some other notable tenants of 400 West Georgia include Deloitte Canada and IWG Plc’s Spaces co-working units. Deloitte will occupy the top 10 floors of the building, taking up approximately 117,000 sq-ft. Spaces will occupy 120,000 sq-ft.

Vancouver has become an increasingly popular spot for tech companies in recent years. Amazon Inc. will be moving into a new 416,000 sq-ft. skyscraper in the former Canada Post building, adding 3,000 jobs to B.C’s workforce. Microsoft, Slack, and HootSuite are among the notable tech brands with offices in the the city.

A diverse and skilled workforce, lower sector wages, and cheaper rent for office space are a few of the reasons why tech giants are looking northwest to open their new offices. Currently, Vancouver has the lowest office vacancy space in Canada, sitting at 4.1 percent with Toronto coming in at second with 7.1 percent.
